DC's home for Sport
Balance is Washington DC's premier indoor sporting facility. Our newly renovated court doubles as a high school regulation basketball court or two volleyball courts. The floor is well maintained and allows you to make the cuts to the lane, or plant and jump for the spike. We're located in the former Mackin High School, once the home of college and NBA standouts Johnny Dawkins and Austin Carr.

Basketball
Are you looking for a regular run? Then play at the best court in DC with other good basketball players. We are always recruiting new talent and spreading the word about our court, so you can always count on a good game. We offer drop-in times and leagues. When the court is open you are able shoot around.
Pick-up Hoops
Play organized pick-up! Full-length, 5 on 5, competitive games on a high-school regulation court. We manage the games using a white-board for you to sign-up so that so you are guaranteed a spot. Games are played to 15 by 2s and 3s. If there are multiple teams waiting we will play 8 minute games or to 15, whichever comes first. The court was recently renovated; no slipping and sliding like most courts in the city.
